the Importance of Customer Service

Posted by Jenna Levy on 24th Aug 2016

Decibel Designs and our team are no strangers to customer service. We've seen the good and the bad. We've been on the receiving end, and probably at some point, on the giving end. The fact that we're able to be transparent about the landscape in its entirety should hopefully speak to many of our company's core values. These core values include integrity, communication, and honesty, dominant in the art of positive customer service.

A chicken and egg question for you-- which came first- positive customer service or positive customer experience? You could argue either way, but we're willing to put money on the foundation of customer service. When we treat you with the respect that you deserve, not only do you have a positive experience, but you're far more likely to share the craft that we're so passionate about with your family or friends. Conversely, if you have a negative experience, you will share that with those around you. Did you know that you're 12% more likely to share negative feedback than you are positive feedback? Yikes- let's make sure that we don't aid and abet any of that!

So how do we do it and what can you expect from us? You can expect to hear from us, when and however you want. You choose the media, you choose the cadence. We'll touch base however it makes sense to you.

You can expect to hear the truth. If an item is delayed or we screwed up shipping, we'll take full responsibility for that and make it up to you. There's no sense in not leveling with you as a partner in the sale.

Finally, you can expect to see integrity in all that we say and do. We shed blood, sweat and tears for our customers because you become our family. That means that we'll go above and beyond and show marked integrity every step of the way.

What have been some of your favorite customer service experiences? Let us know!
