Stains For Your Wooden Furniture

Don't worry, you don't have to run and grab the seltzer water for this post. Don't look so horrified, these kinds of stains are totally in style. We won't have to discuss in depth, the comprehensive methods to remove any matter of food or beverage from your white couch, or your children's' school uniform. These, our Decibel Designs friends, are the kind of stains that you want. And there are a lot to choose from!

First up- what's a stain in our world? A stain is a long-lasting way to color your furniture. Technically speaking, it's a colorant which has been suspended or has been dissolved in an agent. We're not talking 007 agents here, examples include petroleum distillate, water or alcohol. When you apply a stain to a type of wood, you truly customize it to make it your own. After all, there are only so many colors of wood in its natural form. We find them all classic and beautiful, but sometime it's fun to amp up the creativity and elevate your next piece of furniture.

Depending on what kind of stain you choose, it may accentuate the grain or the wood, or it might obscure it. It can add different dynamics to the pattern, or smooth away any lines and cracks. This is really an individual choice, completely up to you. We offer stains in a huge range of colors and shades. You can explore them in more depth on our Website page here

As you've probably noticed, the Decibel team loves to get creative, and we love to collaborate with our customers on your dream piece of furniture. Give us a shout. Let's create a truly unique piece of art, just for you.
